C. 1936 Mint Dunhill Miniature Broadboy MK 1 (Half Cap)

Order nr : DUN010

Dimensions : 37*32*11.5mm : Miniature

Description :

The miniature Broadboy was introduced around 1936.  While stated in some books that this lighter was mainly sold in Great Britain, this one is a clear example that it was also sold in  Belgium.  The Belgian tax stamp is clear proof to that.  Or does this tax stamp make it unique.  This Dunhill lighter is silver plated and works ofcourse with petrol.  It has a half cap, (full caps also open the front of the lighter, the cap is extends to the front), making it a MK1. Small thumb wheel and correct filling screw.

A very nice feature of this lighter is the concealled flint chamber.  An actual part of the back side slides away to reveal the flint screw.  Magnificent highly detailled lighter.

Condition : Near Mint to mint, dry fired (can easely be cleaned), never been filled.  No pocket wear and flint has been removed

Price : Sold
